Trips For Kids opens the world of cycling to at-risk and inner-city youth through mountain bike rides and earn-a-bike programs. More than sixty Trips For Kids chapters in the U.S., Canada, and Israel provide relevant lessons in self-confidence, environmental awareness, and healthy lifestyles through the simple act of having fun. Dedicated volunteers make this possible.

Trips For Kids grew out of the success of the first chapter, envisioned and begun by avid mountain biker and environmentalist Marilyn Price in Marin County, California in 1988. Today, with support from many generous sponsors, Trips For Kids provides valuable experiences for youth from many different backgrounds who face many different challenges in life. Despite their differences, all the kids have one thing in common - they are kids, and kids love bikes. We have served nearly 65,000 deserving young people, many of whom tell us that Trips for Kids encouraged them to dream a little bigger and believe their efforts will lead to accomplishment.

This group site is dedicated to helping raise funds for the Trips For Kids Organization using the +3 Network by simply logging our miles for such a great cause.
