My Helmet Has The Funk !
With the hot weather here in Florida this time of year, my helmet gets the funk real bad (really smelly) and I was wondering what is the best way to clean it ?

take it in the shower after your ride--soap up your head--put helmet on and move it around--wash straps too--let air dry after--do it often!

Good one AJ,
I've heared that one before, what I found that works great is simple, put it in the top shelf of the dishwasher and it comes out clean and steamed ;-)

Mine is not too funky but I am planning to wash it in the dishwasher this weekend. RIght now we are packing up both kids and my wife will be making a long loop to deliver them to Georgia Tech in Atlanta and Belmont in Nashville. I will be holding down the fort while she drives about 18 hours over 4 days. She and our daughter are staying with my sister-in-law in northern Alabama one day, so she get some break from driving.
